Overview
A virtual tour is an interactive simulation of a three-dimensional environment that allows the viewer to move the point of view around, 360 degrees in each direction.

Virtual tours are produced using digital photography of the environment and the creation of a full panorama, used as the foundation for the virtual tour. Multiple points of view can be added, to create a virtual gallery, in which it is possible to turn around, move from room to room and be oriented by using the interactive map. Additional information, such as text, images, sound and video can be accessed with one click.

The potential of the virtual tour is huge – it is possible to conserve not only the look of an exhibition or site, for example, but the feel of seeing it in its space. Instead of recording exhibited objects individually in a catalogue, they can be viewed in the original context in which they were shown, with rich multimedia content  available at the click of a mouse.

The virtual tours are saved directly to HTML/Flash format, which is suitable for Internet use. In addition, high-quality, high-definition tours can be made, which can be delivered on CD.
